Why is the bond yield curve still inverted?

All,

Not sure what's exactly broken but if i understand correctly, inflation is following the Fed's expectation and it doesn't seem like US economy would ever a recession.

So why is the yield curve still inverted? And any idea why bond yields spiked so much yesterday (on 1st April '24)?
