What’s the point of value or fundamental ETFs (FNDX/SPYV) when they are correlated with growth?
Take todays market where there is a large valuation gap between value/fundamental vs growth. Should a growth sell off start, value will be equally impacted albeit with a lower drawdown.
When the market picks up, it will be growth leading the charge as 2023/2021 saw.
My question is therefore: what is the point of value if it does not hedge against growth sell offs and underperforms in bull markets
