Tips for new 17M investor

Hello,

So I'm a 17 year old and have recently gotten into investing. From what little I have read, ETFs are better to invest into for long term growth then individual stocks.

My current breakup of my portfolio is VTI – 50%, QQQ – 40%, and XLK – 10%. This is done with a wealthfront robo advisor for tax loss harvest and also auto investment. I invest 100$ a week and had an original deposit of 1000$.

Any tips or tricks in improving my portfolio, how long I should hold, or anything else would be much appreciated.

Also, should I invest a bit into individual stocks or just hold ETFs

Thank you
