The US has a power shortage and power hungry AI and Bitcoin mining just made this worse. This is where OKLO can shine to fill the gap.
-I know the first plant wont go live for a while but they are making significant progress and wouldn't go public if it wasn't on the horizon.
-Microsoft has been hiring nuclear engineers since last year. Somehow MSFT will be involved. im curious if they will have a stake.
-Democrats love Altman, Biden and democrats will throw billions of dollars at green energy to accelerate development and expansion. Think about the subsidies for green energy. This is a high priority for any administration. I can see a energy grid bill coming along to upgrade the failing existing grid and OKLO being a major beneficiary.
-Coal, Oil and Gad are dirty, i can see the EPA and Dept of Energy winding down these operations as cleaner energy comes available.
-Solar is ok but hasnt really worked in the US. If it was great Elon would have given that part of the business more attention. Tesla is more involved in energy storage, solar hasnt gained much traction.
-Elon has consistently said nuclear is the future, he should take a stake in OKLO
-Trump hates wind, he called windmills a disaster. I dont think this will ever be a major green energy source in the US.
-This leaves nuclear energy. OKLO can be what Enron should have been. A major energy supplier for the more populated areas of the US. Thats potentially millions of residential, commercial and industrial customers. $$$$
