Hey Reddit, I would like to buy x dollars of VOO whenever the S&P 500 declines by more than 1% in a day. X= $10,000* the decline. What are some ways that I can be notified of such a decline automatically? Which would be the best ticker symbol to monitor? Is there a better ETF to buy? SPY? IVV? SPYG? SH?
I would like to buy about once every 3 months. What do you think about the 1% number?
Could I automate this entire strategy and get a text when a purchase is made?
