So a little background information. I have never had a job and I have never filed taxes, so I never had an income. 2 years ago in my first year of being an adult, I decided to buy stocks on cash app since it was affordable. However, I did sell a few of them. On one, I made 2 dollars give or take.
In my state and country you have to make a certain amount of money to be required to pay taxes. However I have heard that stocks have a different set of taxes than the main one.
So, this might be a stupid question, but do I owe taxes?
