First off, I know nothing about stocks. Like, nothing at all. Sorry if this question is too noobish for this sub but I couldn’t find a sub that is for beginners.
Here is the deal: I invested in a company called Microsalt a few years back. I bought some “series seed preferred stock” the documents state that I have the option to convert these preferred shares to common shares at any time.I did this through Microventures which is an equity crowdfunding site for startups.
Anyway, this company just had an IPO on the London AIM market. I’m in the US and I can’t figure how I convert my shares to common shares, and I can’t find a place to sell them. I’ve tried contacting Microsalt and have gotten no response.
