The currency i earn is neither euro nor dollar and j live in Europe.
I have all my stock purchased directly on USA stock in $, however since I’m living in Europe, owning stock also in € would make a lot of sense to me.
There’s an equivalent of QQQ etf on European stock market (SXRV.DE) available in €.
To purchase stock, I have to exchange my local currency to either dollar or euro anyway.
I’m considering purchasing euro when it has more favorable exchange rate compared to dollar and purchasing SXRV.DE (Equivalent of QQQ etf).
However I can’t wrap my head around the consequences of owning European ETF purchased in euro which holds USA stocks traded in dollars and whether it might be riskier than buying directly on US stock.
Any tips?
