Trading at 4.90s as of now and deal is 5.50/share – acquired by CoSTAR group – cash & stock deal:
"…reflecting an estimated $1.6 billion of enterprise value. Under the terms and subject to the conditions of the agreement, Matterport stockholders will receive $2.75 in cash and $2.75 in shares of CoStar Group common stock for each share of Matterport common stock."
Curious for those that have held through an acquisition before why they did so and what the process and timeline is like.
CoStar Group stock seems to be doing steady over the past few years. Haven't heard of them from today. Internet search says they are "a leading provider of information, analytics, and online marketplaces for the commercial real estate industry."
