ADRs as a mean of diversification?

So, I've started investing last month and i mostly put the money in the stock market, I'm from Argentina and I bought american stock and ETFs mostly and some argentine shares as well (about 30% of my portfolio). The thing is, since most of my money is in american companies, specially technological, and ETFs like SPY and QQQ, I was thinking that maybe it would be good to invest in foreign companies as a mean of diversification, since they arent included in american ETFs and indexes. My investment plan is medium to long term (years). Is my idea ok? If thats the case what foreign companies stock would you recommend? I'm following closely the idea of automotives like Toyota
