UAW Strike, supply chain, demand, MSRP prices, and Auto stocks

Union members will get hefty double-digit pay raises that are said to

cost GM nearly $7B over the next 4.5 years

6 week strike over $7B Think of the THIRY billion invested into money losing EV R&D for a product that the public doesn’t want, nor can afford, nor is profitable. What an epic corporate destruction of shareholder value. GM stock chart is a disgrace!

To make up for EV spending and strike wages, car prices only gonna head higher from here.

Substitute goods at play, but I think all costs passed down to buyer, in the end.

I wonder how elastic car demand is.

Need a car to work, it’s not like you just walk.

Used car market supply impacted by COVID supply for the next decade.

What are your thoughts on auto stocks future ?
