How do dividends work in the S&P 500 ETF? Didn't even know they pay any, I just saw it when I looked at my history.
I'm asking how they work, because I can see I get different return every quarter, in December, I got about 0.2% of my total investment, and just a few days ago in March 0.3% in dividends. I'm a newbie, so I always thought that dividends are usually set by like yearly APY, and are not changeable every quarter
btw. don't know if the American SP500 ETF has the same returns as the EU one, but I'm referring to the one on the London stock exchange from Vanguard (VUSA)
